Hand harvested Ají (ah-HE) (Capsicum baccatum) peppers.
This species is unique from the garden peppers we are used to here and hails from the Andes of Peru. The heat is similar to Jalapeño with thin skin and flavors of fruit and spices.
Fresh herbs are available picked up from the farm by appointment, or at our Seattle (Fremont) and Tacoma (Proctor) CSA pickup location during the CSA season. Please provide your phone number to verify and coordinate local pick-up or delivery.
Shipping is also available. Though we ship with ice packs, wilting, mold, and some product loss are a possibility. We guarantee your herbs will be at least 80% usable if shipped overnight. We cannot guarantee priority shipping or other two-day options.
